I hope you’re having a fantastic week. I’m starting a new series here, and it’s called “Always Be”. And that’s significant, because, I believe that being can lead to more doing, which can lead to more having.

So, you have to become more.  “Always Be” is going to be a little bit alphabetical. We’re going with the letter “A” today.

Always Be Asking”.

When I first got into sales and sales management, I was very fortunate. I had some great people working for me. And one of the guys that worked with me was a guy named Joe. Joe was a seasoned veteran.

I often went on sales calls with Joe. And one of the things I noticed right off the bat about Joe is, that he formed great relationships

with his customers. Joe was the consummate salesperson. He was a professional, he understood his customers, and he understood their needs.

But the second thing I noticed was that Joe asked a lot of questions. There’s an old saying, “You have two ears and one mouth”. Use ’em in that proportion.

He used questions to find out what he needed to know so that he could make the proper selection, and make the proper recommendation to his clients.
